Neil Jackson (Badger) rolls back the years with a Marvelous unbeaton 121, yet still ended up on the losing side as Bushey are edged out by Clarendon in a tight affair.

Senior practice nights will be held on Tuesday night at the ground. Jarryd Logan will be in charge on the night. Practice will consist of fielding drills and some batting and bowling, everyone is expected to turn up and take part.

Sessions will start from 6.45pm.

An additional night on Thursday will commence as we will have more daylight hours. Upadates will follow for Thursday.

Please note Senior and Junior signing on evening will be held at Bushey Cricket Club on Friday 18th April 2008 at 7:45pm.
There will be a barbecue serving Burgers, and Hot Dogs.
Senior members (Over 18) please print off and complete the attached membership form and bring with you on the night.
Junior members, a separate form will be available on the night to complete.
Hopefully we may have new club merchandise available for purchase.

Ground Work Parties are being held at the Cricket Ground every Saturday morning starting at 10am, to prepare the Pavilion, Ground, and Wicket for the start of the new season.
Please spare a couple of hours for a morning or two to come down and help with the groundwork.

Bushey Cricket Club are currently recruiting new members, as playing or non playing members:

• Youth Players from Under 9 to Under 15 age group

• Scorers
• Groundsman
• Or a Casual observer who wants to enjoy the tranquil surrounding of Bushey CC during the Summer

The winter indoor winter nets are starting shortly, details below:

Date – Tuesday 22nd January 2008
Time – 21:00 – 22:00
Duration – Every Tuesday for 12 Weeks (This will run until Mid April in time for the start of the outdoor season)
Nets: x4 (3 – Seniors/U15’s, 1 – Colts)
Cost - £2 Colts (16 & Under), £4 Seniors, £5 Non-Members
Venue - Westfield Community Sports Centre, Tolpits Lane, Watford, Herts, WD18 6NS

It is preferred anyone planning to attend all the sessions to pay in advance via cash or cheque. £48 seniors, £24 Colts (16 & Under). In the event you miss a few sessions having paid the full amount, the surplus cash will be deducted against your future match fees.
Cheques should be made payable to Bushey Cricket Club.

After the tremendous success last year, Bushey Cricket Club duly invites you to another fireworks extravaganza on Saturday 3rd November at the cricket ground.

The show will kick off at 6:30pm with a bonfire followed by a spectacular and professional fireworks display hosted by the one and only Neil Jackson.

There will be plenty of hot food and drinks to keep everyone warm through the evening with Tea & Coffee, Jacket Potatoes, and a barbecue serving burgers, and hot dogs.

Get your raffle tickets quickly on the evening, as there are some great prizes on offer. The winners will be drawn after the conclusion of the fireworks display.

There is a nominal entrance fee:
Individual £2.50
Couple/Family £5.00

Partners, friends, family, work colleagues are more than welcome.

For safety reasons you are kindly asked to refrain from bringing sparklers or other firework products to the event.
